About the Job Mars Men is one of the fastest growing DTC brands in the US, achieving $100M run rate in less then 18 months. Recently backed by L Catterton, Mars Men is positioned to become the leading men's health brand in the supplement space. We operate across DTC, retail, and emerging channels, and are entering our next phase of growth as we continue scaling the business. As our Email/SMS Copywriter, you'll write every word that reaches a customer after the first click. That means the full lifecycle across email and SMS: welcome, abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment, subscription upsell, winback, and cancel-save, plus the weekly campaign calendar to both the prospect list and active subscribers. You'll join a small in-house retention pod alongside a designer and an implementer, writing to segment and to a revenue number. What You'll Do Write email and SMS copy across the full lifecycle, including welcome, abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment, subscription upsell, winback, and cancel-save Own the weekly campaign copy, including subject lines, preview text, body, and CTAs, for both prospects and active subscribers Run subject line, offer, and angle tests, forming the hypothesis, writing the variants, reading the result, and rolling winners into the evergreen flows Adapt proven acquisition angles into retention, including our core product mechanism, clinical authority, and founder story, without recycling ad copy verbatim Write to segment, so a 14-day first-time buyer, a six-month subscriber, and a lapsed customer never receive the same message Keep every claim inside our supplement and men's health compliance guardrails, working from the approved claims guide Brief the designer and implementer from the start of a project, so copy, layout, and build move together Must-Have Requirements 3+ years of direct response copywriting for DTC, ecommerce, consumer brands, or agency environments, with meaningful email and SMS in your portfolio Demonstrated subject line and body copy work you can tie to a result, whether open rate, click rate, revenue per recipient, or conversion Ability to write inside a defined brand voice from research documents, rather than defaulting to generic supplement copy Working familiarity with Klaviyo or a comparable ESP, including how flows, segments, and dynamic content behave Strong understanding of consumer psychology and persuasive communication Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment Experience writing for subscription or replenishment businesses, including cancel-save and dunning copy Self-starter who takes ownership, embraces feedback, and thrives in high-growth teams Life at Mars Men Competitive Compensation - We offer a strong salary and benefits package, tailored to attract top talent Remote Work Environment - Our team is remote, offering full flexibility to work from home Autonomy & Ownership - You'll have the freedom to run your own systems and make real impact Time Off - 15 PTO days per year (prorated), 9 company holidays, plus your birthday off Parental Leave - Generous paid parental leave for growing families Health Benefits - 100% premium coverage for health, dental, and vision plans, with 25% coverage for dependents 401(k) - Company-sponsored plan with a 2% match through Guideline (elective participation) $200 Annual Superpower Membership Growth & Development - We invest in your professional development with ongoing learning opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Mars Men
